The Archipelago Trail has been opened 9.5.2025. The Finferries booking system, which can be found at booking.finferries.fi, has been implemented on the Houtskari-Iniö route, operated by ms Replot 2. There is also a link to the system on our homepage finferries.fi.
We ask our customers to familiarize themselves with the booking system and book their trips through it. In the booking system, you can book a place for passengers and vehicles up to two weeks before your desired departure date. The ferry trip is paid for in the booking system at the time of booking. A new user registers at booking.finferries.fi, after which they can start booking trips.
With the automatic loading feature, passengers can see how much space is left on different departures already when making a booking. In the booking process, the passenger selects the desired departure time and vehicle type. The system checks the selection and suggests a suitable departure for the chosen day that has capacity. We ask you to book a vehicle that matches the actual vehicle – otherwise, it there may not be space onboard the vessel. Booking requests are processed during working hours within a few hours.
Color codes in the booking process:
• Green: The passenger gets a spot and receives a booking confirmation immediately.
• Yellow: The captain of the vessel checks if there is space on the vessel and the booking is confirmed once the captain has approved the booking request.
• Red: The departure is fully booked and cannot be booked.

If you indicate in the additional information field during booking that you are booking multiple bicycles for the trip, you can pay for only one bicycle at the time of booking. The remaining bicycles will be paid for upon arrival at the ferry. .

Puutossalmi

The ELY Centre for southwest Finland will carry out modification and improvement works at the ferry docks of the Puutossalmi ferry site. The project involves the construction of additional land supports at the ferry docks, which will enable simultaneous traffic of two ferries at the site in the future, as well as provide a better service level and capacity. Additionally, wave breakers will be relocated, dredging work will be carried out at the ferry docks, and traffic safety at the ferry docks will be improved. The project will be implemented between 1.5.-30.12.2025.
In principle, ferry traffic will be managed normally during the work. However, temporary traffic arrangements will need to be made at the ferry docks during the work, so we urge road users to be attentive and follow traffic guidance.
The main contractor for the project is Oteran Oy.

Finferries' commuter ferry booking system can be found at booking.finferries.fi. On our homepage finferries.fi you can also find a link to the system.
We ask our customers to familiarise themselves with the booking system and book a commuter ferry trip through the booking system. In the booking system you can book space for passengers, vehicles and cargo up to two weeks before your desired departure date.
After registering as a new user at booking.finferries.fi, you can start booking a trip.
A favorite feature can be found in the booking system. When booking a trip, you have the option to save your favorite route and frequently used vehicle. Later, when booking trips, you can select the saved favorite routes and vehicles from the Favorites section on the booking system's frontpage.
