Maintenance work will be carried out on the Puutossalmi route from Thursday 10.7.2025 11:00 PM to Friday 11.7.2025 around 3:00 AM.

Due to the maintenance work, there will be half-hour long traffic stops starting from Thursday at 11:00 PM, and the cable ferry will operate half an hour before the next hourly traffic stop begins.

On Saturday 12.7.2025, Suomen Vauhtiveneilijät ry will organize a speedboat event that will pass the ferry routes between Lappeenranta and Puumala: Lamposaari cable ferry, Kyläniemi cable ferry and Hätinvirta cable ferry.

During the event, heavy boat traffic is expected at the following times: 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM.

Please note that the event may also involve a significant number of spectator boats!
