Due to winter conditions, Otava's traffic has had to be adjusted to the prevailing ice and water level situation. Transport to Kuutsalo and Kaunissaari has been arranged via a temporary pedestrian bridge built on the ice.

In Kuutsalo, the temporary harbour is located at the northern tip of the island, on the shore of Sukosenpohja. In Kaunissaari, the temporary landing place is on the sandy beach at the northern tip of the island. For the time being, all services to Kuutsalo and Kaunissaari operate via these temporary harbours. We will inform separately when traffic to the islands’ main harbours can be resumed.

Only pedestrians with luggage are transported to the temporary piers. No freight or vehicles are carried.

Traffic to all harbours is intended to operate according to the normal winter schedule; however, we ask our customers to note that ice conditions may also cause significant delays at short notice. Passengers who have booked a journey will be informed of last-minute changes from the vessel whenever possible.
