ADVANCE NOTICE REGARDING THE LAMPOSAARI FERRY ROUTE

Dredging and blasting works at the Lamposaari ferry route will commence on 8.9.2026.

The Economic Development Centre of Southwest Finland is commissioning dredging and blasting works at the Lamposaari ferry route in preparation for ferry operations under the upcoming 20-year service agreement. The main contractor is Oteran Oy. The dredging and blasting works will be carried out during September.

During the works, ferry traffic will be subject to traffic interruptions, particularly during the so-called night service on weekdays between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Information on these interruptions will be provided separately. Short traffic disruptions and interruptions may also occur during daytime. Throughout the works, Fintraffic Oy’s Road Traffic Centre will provide information on traffic disruptions 24 hours a day.

Information on traffic interruptions:

Fintraffic Oy’s Road Traffic Centre will inform road users of any disruptions to road and ferry traffic occurring during the works.
