ADVANCE NOTICE REGARDING THE TAPPUVIRTA FERRY TRAFFIC

Improvement works will be carried out at the Tappuvirta ferry route to prepare for ferry operations under the upcoming 20-year service agreement.

In October–November 2026

The Economic Development Centre of Southwest Finland will commission dredging works at the Tappuvirta ferry route as well as rehabilitation works on the landing structures. The main contractor is Oteran Oy.

Dredging operations at the ferry route may also cause interruptions to the ferry traffic. During the works, vehicle traffic will occasionally be directed to a single lane. Please exercise extreme caution when driving through the work area!

Information on possible traffic interruptions:
Fintraffic Oy’s Road Traffic Centre will provide information on any disruptions to road and ferry traffic caused by the works.

During the works, vehicle traffic will occasionally be directed to a single lane. Please exercise extreme caution when driving through the work area!
