On Christmas Day 25.12. the Skagen ferry will start operating already at 6:30 am to enable participation in the traditional Christmas Day morning service. Church departures are operated at 6:30 am and 6:45 am, otherwise the ferry runs when needed.

The commuter ferry Otava will operate via Rankki on Tuesday 23.12.2025 and Tuesday 30.12.2025 on the 11:00 departure from Haapasaari to Kotka. On the return trip, there will also be a stop at Rankki on the 17:00 departutre from Kotka to Haapasaari.

Due to the water level of the lake, we must restrict the load capacity of the Kuparonvirta ferry as follows:
- Maximum cable ferry load capacity: 44 tons
- Maximum permitted weight of a vehicle or vehicle combination: 35 tons
- Maximum permitted length of a vehicle or vehicle combination: 13 meters
