Low water level in lakes
Valid thru: For the time being
Published on 21.10.2025 10:46
In the Vuoksi water system area, lake water levels are exceptionally low!
We urge all drivers to exercise great caution when driving onto or off the cable ferry, as the height difference between the road and the water surface creates an angle between the cable ferry and the ramp, as well as between the ramp and the road. This angle must be taken into account especially with vehicles that have low ground clearance or long front/rear overhangs.

Exceptional arrangement on the Korppoo–Houtskari–Norrskata routes
Valid thru: 1.10.2025–31.1.2026
Published on 22.09.2025 07:33
The ferry Stella will be converted into a hybrid vessel, which will reduce the ferry's environmental emissions and improve energy efficiency.
During Stella’s conversion, the ferry Aura will operate on the Korppoo–Houtskari route and the ferry Replot 2 will operate on the Korppoo–Norrskata route.
Due to the slower speed of the replacement vessels, changes have been made to the schedule. The updated schedule can be found on our website, and the exceptional arrangement is valid from 1.10.2025–31.1.2026.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our passengers by this exceptional arrangement.
Puutossalmi
Valid thru: For the time being
Published on 25.08.2025 16:00
The next phase in the modification and improvement work at the Puutossalmi ferry site involves underwater blasting.
The blasting work may cause short traffic stops in the ferry traffic. During these stops, the cable ferry will remain stationary for 10–15 minutes on the west shore before traffic resumes.
Road users are advised to prepare for possible traffic stops by allowing sufficient travel time.
