Commuter ferries' booking system
Valid thru: For the time being
Published on 20.05.2026 14:42
A new feature, a departure time calculator, has been added to the booking system for commuter ferries. Based on customers’ bookings, this function calculates the vessel’s departure time for each harbor included in the specific turn. The departure time calculation starts three days before the trip and is updated every time a new harbor is booked for the turn.
You can find the departure times for the booked harbors by opening the additional details of the relevant booking under the My bookings tab in the My pages section of the booking system.
If you have any questions about the booking system, you can call the booking support service at +358 20 7118 751 (weekdays 9:00–11:00 and 11:30–15:00) or send an email to booking-support@finferries.fi.
The Archipelago Trail Houtskari-Iniö
Valid thru: For the time being
Published on 07.05.2026 12:30
The Archipelago Trail was opened 8.5.2026. The Finferries booking system, which can be found at booking.finferries.fi, is in use at the Houtskari-Iniö route, operated by ms Replot 2. There is also a link to the system on our homepage finferries.fi.
We ask our customers to familiarize themselves with the booking system and book their trips through it. In the booking system, you can book a place for passengers and vehicles up to two weeks before your desired departure date. The ferry trip is paid for in the booking system at the time of booking. A new user registers at booking.finferries.fi, after which they can start booking trips.
With the automatic loading feature, passengers can see how much space is left on different departures already when making a booking. In the booking process, the passenger selects the desired departure time and vehicle type. The system checks the selection and suggests a suitable departure for the chosen day that has capacity. We ask you to book a vehicle that matches the actual vehicle – otherwise, it there may not be space onboard the vessel. Booking requests are processed during working hours within a few hours.
Color codes in the booking process:
• Green: The passenger gets a spot and receives a booking confirmation immediately.
• Yellow: The captain of the vessel checks if there is space on the vessel and the booking is confirmed once the captain has approved the booking request.
• Red: The departure is fully booked and cannot be booked.
When the ferry is empty, we ask those who have booked their trip through the booking system to drive on board using the opposite lane.
If you have any questions about the booking system, you can call the booking system helpline +358 20 7118 751 (on weekdays 9-11 and 11.30-15) or send an email to booking-support@finferries.fi.
